Episode 9: The Heart of Worship

The concept of worship is at the very heart of the Christian faith, and yet, a lot of people struggle to understand its relevance and/or experience its impact. For most people, Christian or otherwise, the word worship is synonymous with music. However, to limit worship to a musical genre or experience at a church gathering is missing the point. In this episode, we get to the heart of worship by unpacking Biblical truths and challenging prevalent cultural stereotypes. Worship is a mindset and lifestyle; it’s an every day, every moment reality that expresses outwardly the love we have for God within our hearts. Through worship, we get closer to God and that proximity is what makes transformation possible. A true worshipper of God is one who is ready and willing to surrender everything to God and give Him the first place in their life.
