Stephanie Saleh
Hi, my name is Stephanie. I’m a Toronto native with a passion for city life, food, travel, writing, and, most importantly, God. My personal devotion to God started at a young age and has grown throughout the years as I’ve come to find my purpose in Him and understand His plan for my life. Having served for over a decade in my home church, the Church on the Rock - Toronto, I’ve experienced the blessings of using my talents for Christ. Over the last few years, I have developed a huge burden for sharing my faith with others. This burden, inspired me to seek God’s help to create a “pathway” for young people, like myself, to find their purpose in God. My hope, in creating Pathway, is that people, like myself, will come to understand the truth about God and see how relevant He can be to their lives. My unwavering faith in God isn’t the result of learning “about” God - it’s the result of experiencing God and His love in every aspect of my life. Through Pathway, I hope to find ways to express how God is transforming my life so that others can experience this same joy, peace, hope, freedom and transformation.
Larine Torikian
Hi, my name is Larine. I’m a recent university graduate from Toronto currently pursuing Digital Media Marketing. Being creative through art and music, chasing after new experiences, travelling, and photography are some of the hobbies I enjoy the most. Wherever possible, I love to use my creativity and musical talents to serve God and His people. I grew up attending the Church on the Rock - Toronto. As I got older, I decided to get more involved in church life and joined the church worship team as one of the keyboard players and lead singers. Being a part of such a talented and vibrant worship team has opened my eyes to see the value of using my talents to serve God. For me, Pathway is another opportunity to express my creative side and experience the blessings that come with serving God. My faith in God and being able to share this faith with other young people is what inspires me to be a part of Pathway. I want to help remove misunderstandings and stigmas so that young people, like myself, can experience what it really means to be a follower of Christ in a world where being a Christian isn’t always on trend.
Christopher Keoshkerian
Hi, my name is Chris. I turned my passion for music into a university specialization and my affinity for tech into a job at Apple in Toronto. My other interests include snowboarding, camping, good food, and, above all else, God. I call Church on the Rock - Toronto my spiritual home where I serve God as the leader of the worship team. I started serving God at a young age, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that I truly began to understand the meaning of what I was doing. With this new understanding, I always look for new ways to share God’s message of hope with others through my words and His heart of love with people through my music. Through Pathway, I hope to combine my passion for Christ with my love for creating music and sharing my faith, in order to show young people the transformative power of God. God isn’t just an abstract concept; He is a person who is looking for relationship. My relationship with God has changed my life and my hope is that, through Pathway, I can help other young people discover the real God and the blessings that come with a relationship with Him.
Tammy Pachis
Hi, my name is Tammy. I’m a nurse, amateur blogger, singer, and mental health advocate based in Toronto. I’ve always had a passion for helping others, especially when it comes to finding meaning and purpose in life. I grew up attending a local church in Toronto called The Church on the Rock - Toronto, where I now sing as part of the worship team. Having grown up in this environment, and among some amazing young Christians, I am always looking for new ways to share my faith and show young people, like myself, how relevant God is to their lives. Pathway, to me, is safe space for young believers or people just curious about God and faith, to come to know God in a real, personal, and down-to-earth kind of way. In my life, through all the ups and downs, I’ve come to experience the goodness and faithfulness of God. My journey hasn’t always been easy, but having God in my life made all the difference. God has always been a source of comfort, encouragement, stability, strength, and healing in my life and so, through Pathway, I want to help other young people to experience Him the way I have.
